Jenna, Trip Facilitator

Jenna in 3 words: Excitable Curious Creative.

Being outside enjoying beautiful spaces with other people makes me come alive! Whether it’s taking a stroll through the trees, getting out for a spin on bikes, or running rapids together – I can’t get enough. In 2012, a cancer diagnosis knocked me right down, and there’s been a lot of twists and turns to get me where I am today! By day I’m a substitute teacher, and the rest of the time I can be found doing all sorts of things: writing poetry, storytelling, paddling, climbing to name a few. My life doesn’t look very much like that of my peers, but I can confidently say that where I am right now, I’m the best version of myself yet! I’m so grateful to be out adventuring with others as part of the Survive & Thrive team!

3) What is the longest road trip you have ever done? I lived in Montreal for a year after I finished university… though not by car, I have never wandered a city so profusely by bicycle as I did that year.
