Rock-Climbing in the Canadian Rockies
Spend 5 days in the Canadian Rockies learning to climb real rock and exploring stunning mountain landscapes! This trip is based out of Canmore, AB and will day include several days of adventures out to awesome crags in the Bow Valley area. Each night we will eat good food, relax and have fun around a campfire surrounded by stunning limestone peaks.
Who: This trip is open to any young adult cancer survivors diagnosed and currently between the ages of 18 and 39ish (and one of their supporters).
What/Where: An incredible weekend of climbing in the rockies facilitated by professional mountain guides.
When: August 16-20, 2018 (Arrive in Canmore on the evening of the 16th and leave anytime on the 21st)
Cost: We are currently working on the pricing for this trip, but it will include accommodation, food, equipment, guides and transportation to/from the crags each day. No matter the price, we do not want cost to be a barrier and can help you raise funds or have someone sponsor you to come. Please indicate on the application form if you will need help with fundraising.
- Each participant is responsible for their travel to/from Canmore, AB. The nearest airport is in Calgary (YYC) and a public shuttle runs takes people out to Canmore every few hours at a cost of $77 CAD.
