Free Weekend Retreats for Young Adults with Cancer
and their supporters.
Sometimes it is nice to just hangout with other people your age who know what it is like to have cancer. Three times a year we head out to Camp Kindle (in Water Valley, AB) to do just that!! Spend a weekend sharing stories, playing games, making stuff, doing super fun activities (GIANT SWING?!… see video above), trying yoga or other physical activities and spending time outside in the beautiful foothills of the Canadian Rockies. These are chill and fun weekends for you and one close support person to get away from it all, make some new friends and connect with other young adult cancer survivors that get it.
Who: Any cancer patient/survivor between the age of 18-39 and one of their close supporters of the same age.
When: See below.
Where: Camp Kindle, 29479 Range Road 6.1 A, Water Valley, AB T0M 2E0
